How To Distinguish The Authenticity Of Auto Parts

1. Look at the appearance. Auto parts manufacturers have clear and regular printing or casting text and marks on parts, while counterfeit products have rough appearance.

2. Look at the color. Some auto parts manufacturers specify a certain color on the surface of the parts. If you encounter other colors, it is a fake and inferior part.

3. Look at the texture. The materials of auto parts manufacturers are qualified materials used according to the design requirements, and the counterfeit products are mostly replaced by cheap materials.

4. Look at the paint. Illegal merchants simply process waste parts, such as disassembly, assembly, assembly, spray painting, etc., and then sell them as qualified products, illegally obtaining high profits.

5. Look at "joints". If the rivet of the clutch plate is loose, the brake tube is degummed, the joint of electrical parts is disconnected, and the joint of the paper filter element falls off, it cannot be used.

6. Look at these signs. Auto parts manufacturers have marked some marks on some conventional parts, such as hour gear marks, piston crown marks and other assembly marks to ensure the correct installation of the parts, while others cannot be purchased.

7. If there are problems such as dryness, oxidation, discoloration mirror or aging, it depends on the "storage" of auto parts. These problems may be caused by bad storage environment, long storage time, and bad materials.

8. Look at the packaging. The packaging of auto parts manufacturers is generally standardized, the standard specifications are unified, and the handwriting is clear and formal. However, the packaging and printing of counterfeit products are relatively poor, and it is easy to find flaws in the packaging.

9. Look at the certificate. For some important parts, especially components, such as carburetor, distributor, generator, etc., auto parts manufacturers usually attach manuals and certificates when they leave the factory to guide users in installation, use and maintenance. Otherwise, they are mostly fake and shoddy products.

10. Look at the protective layer for easy storage and prevent the parts from bumping. There is a protective layer before the parts leave the factory. For example, bushings, large and small bearings, pistons, valves, etc. Usually paraffin is used for protection to avoid surface damage.

11. The regular assembly parts are complete and intact to ensure a stable posture and normal operation. Some small parts on the assembled parts are usually "parallel imports", which makes loading difficult. Often due to the shortage of individual small parts, the entire assembly parts are scrapped.

12. Look at the specifications of purchased auto parts, find out the main technical parameters, and special processes that meet the requirements of use. Some counterfeit and inferior products have almost the same appearance as the real ones, but they are not suitable for installation. They are either large or small. They are always unsatisfactory in use, leaving hidden dangers of accidents.

13. The appearance of products with poor craftsmanship is sometimes good, but due to poor manufacturing craftsmanship, cracks, blisters, slag inclusions, burrs or bumps are prone to appear. For example, the cylinder gasket is squeezed and deformed, which can easily lead to loosening and ablation of the seal, leading to oil leakage, air leakage, and water leakage; the working surface of the piston and piston ring has burrs, which makes it easy to pull the cylinder.
